How does the token system work?

Each token allows you to generate one report comment. When you create a comment using our AI, it costs 1 token. Create an account, choose a token package, and your tokens can be used across all ACT Key Learning Areas and year levels.

Do tokens expire?

No. Your tokens never expire. Buy them once and use them whenever you need them — whether that’s next week, next term, or next year. This gives you complete flexibility to use the platform at your own pace without worrying about wasted subscriptions or expiring credits.

Can I buy more tokens later?

You can purchase additional token packs at any time. There’s no limit to how many tokens you can buy, and they’ll be added to your account immediately. This pay-as-you-go model means you’re always in control of your spending and only pay for what you actually need.

Do I need to buy tokens before using the dashboard?

Yes. New accounts choose a token package before opening the dashboard and generation tools. This keeps ACT School Reports pay-as-you-go with no subscription, while still giving you complete access to Australian Curriculum alignment, ACT-compliant comment generation, all Key Learning Areas and year levels.

Is there a subscription option?

Currently, we only offer a simple token-based system with no subscriptions. We believe this gives teachers the most flexibility — you’re not locked into monthly payments, and you only pay for what you use.

How many tokens do I need for a full class?

Accepted Answer

It depends on your class size and how many subjects you teach. For example, if you have 25 students and need to write comments for 4 subjects, that’s 100 comments (100 tokens). At $0.20 per comment with our 50-token pack. Most teachers find that 2–3 token packs cover their full reporting period.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards including Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. Payments are processed securely through Stripe, and we never store your card details on our servers. All prices are in AUD.

Can I get a refund if I’m not satisfied?

We want you to be satisfied with ACT School Reports. If you’ve purchased tokens and encounter any issues, please contact our support team within 7 days of purchase and we’ll work with you to resolve any concerns. Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis for unused tokens.

Do you offer school or department pricing?

We’re currently focused on individual teacher accounts, but we’re exploring options for school-wide and department licenses. If you’re interested in bringing ACT School Reports to your entire school or department, please contact us through our contact form and we’ll discuss custom pricing options.

Are there any hidden fees or additional costs?

No hidden fees. The price you see is the price you pay. There are no setup fees, no monthly charges, no per-student fees, and no surprise costs. You simply buy tokens when you need them, and each token generates one report comment.
